AirAsia IKHLAS introduces Aqiqah service into its products offerings

As part of AirAsia Group’s digital business expansion, IKHLAS, a line of business under catering to Muslims lifestyle platform today launched its latest service, Aqiqah.

Aqiqah is the Islamic terminology, defined as the slaughter of certain animals on the occasion of a newborn child, in addition to shaving or cutting their hair and naming the child.

The new service encompasses Aqiqah Abroad – covering over 35 countries worldwide including Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Palestine, Pakistan and more from as low as RM580 per goat, and Aqiqah Makkah – which will be performed in the Holy City of Makkah from as low as RM499 per goat. The meat from the sacrifice will then be distributed to the needy in the respective countries.

Each Aqiqah service fulfilled through will also receive BIG Points (earn 1 BIG Point for every RM2 spent) and an official Aqiqah certificate indicating the exact location of each Aqiqah performed with IKHLAS.
